teen years

A new selfie by my daughter Jordan. As time passes and my daughters become more mature and confident I dread the beginning of the years when I have to worry about dating and there is a natural desire on any parent to delay that time as long as possible. Since my kids have my genes I have always felt comfortable their genetic awkwardness and geekiness will delay dating until at least their mid twenties but lately I have been concerned that perhaps I am too optimistic. Until I saw this selfie by my daughter Jordan . Once again I am feeling I am safe for a decade.
Actually I understand that this photo was taken when she discovered part of her new braces missing and concluded that she may have swallowed the part.
